to inspire is to live well.
i am so truly honored that i have managed to inspire a few of you.
a hearty thank you for visiting the port2port and port2port press blogs since early 2005.
in closing, i wish you nothing but simple goodness, truth and bright bursts of light in your head which tell you that you're on the right path.
as i said, i know we'll meet again soon.
yours as ever, mav
p.s. is this enough 'blue table' to keep you for a while? :)

gee, thanks for the nice words and notes yesterday.
blogging has been such an amazing journey.
as i close out this journal i want to share some bits from the inspirations which i've shared over the past 3-1/2 years. hard to choose just these ten but i had to limit myself ... it's so fun to look back. it has meant so much to me to be a small part of your inspirations over the years. thank you.
tomorrow, some bits from my MANY 'mixing inks' photographs.
i'll be singing off for good on thursday.
cheers much, mav

hi!
what a week this will be ... my online shop closes for good at 5p EST on WED {i added a few Vintage p2p press print sets last night} + Lines & Shapes is offering free shipping all week {first class USPS only} for its last 5 days of 08 shipping + i am getting ready to bring this blog to a close.
i'm not sure if you read the design*sponge post last week but grace let a little secret out of the bag about the next project stephanie and i are working on. i can't tell you much now but by february of 09 we'll have a new web project launched. as well-described by grace: ... they’re developing a new 3191 project where they will join forces again online, branching out from just their usual snapshot diptychs, to feature more written pieces on food, inspiration, simple-living, etc.
if you're looking to keep up with me between now and then, i'm on Flickr, at 3191, Evenings {until 1/15/09}, working on Lines & Shapes with lena and you can email me to join my mailing list. i won't be printing custom stationery next year but before i close that down i will be running my usual Custom Stationery Sale {15% OFF all sets} during the first few weeks of january 09. i will email my mailing list when it begins.
but not so fast!!
i'll be posting for the next few days before i sign off ...
happy day to you, mav
