hi there.
two quick newsy blips:
{1} the Spring Prints Set (the second in a series of four seasons in collaboration with artist Lena Corwin) will be in the shop on monday, april 7 along with another tiny edition of something fun. i have such a crush on the Spring Prints; can't wait to get your thoughts.
{2} stephanie and i will soon be posting the cover of our book, A Year of Mornings: 3191 Miles Apart, on the 3191 website. it's so amazing to see it all coming together. Princeton Architectural Press has been seriously fantastic to work with. i think we'll have a release date soon; um, pinch me?

next week i want to talk about possessions. i am getting ready to move studios and any move makes you look at the things around you and reassess. honestly, most things i could part with (i'm sort of a minimalist in that way) but there are a few things that i would never, ever, never part with. i'll show you.

me too! i just heard them on npr and am so in love...
on moving - we are in the midst of a major one ourselves - purging is so therapeutic - but an emotional strain as well - i wish you the best...

I am excited to hear about what you can't part with. Have you ever read The meaning of things: domestic symbols and the self by Mihaly Csikszentmihalyi and Eugene Rochberg-Halton? I read it in graduate school and can't stop thinking about it. So excited for next week. Happy weekend.
