hello!
i am in the studio this week getting ready to move... packing up items i will take with me and getting rid of items i won't be needing in the new space... and i realized that it is finally time to say goodbye to the inspiration wire.
i put my first wire up in january, 2006 and i have simply loved rotating it out seasonally all the while enjoying sharing it with you. but it is time for a change (i love change) so in my new space i will be displaying inspirational bits in new ways... you'll see.
i think my favorite wire, although hard to choose, was this one which i put up in july, 2007.
i would love to hear what your favorite was... you can see them all in one place right here.
and of course my favorite item has long been this little bird from abigail. he is all packed up and ready to find a new spot in the new studio soon.
i owe a special thanks to jolayne who sent me the wire and mini clothes pins way back when and as a tribute to the amazing woman who inspired me to put up the wire, i will have a special post tomorrow. i think you'll enjoy it.

I remember sending you that wire and waiting to see what you did with it - knowing it would be inspiring to all. Oh MAVELLOUS, you are an inspiration.

I like early spring 2007 best. Spring makes me feel like fresh starts. Starting brand new. Excited to see your inspiration display.

You are so brave. Too often the prevailing notion is to not fix what is broken and the inspiration wire seemed to have worked for you and many others that inspired it. But I salute the change. Goodluck on your new space. I'm always humbled by your point of view. I would say hope you never change but you seem to always change for the better so CHANGE, mav, Change!

Hi Mav, so many wonderful posts for me to read and photos to see, I've decided to leave one all encompassing comment.
Your new cards look beautiful... Good luck with the studio move, setting up in a new space is always very, very exciting... I've loved your inspiration wire, looking forward to seeing your new display... I'm a messy cook too, although my cooking skills are limited to toast, pasta and coffee. xo lj
